| There are two main annual events on the Kundabung calendar. They are the Kundabung Rodeo and the Endurance Ride. The community hall hosts line dancing, clogging and yoga classes. There is a tennis group that plays twice a week and all newcomers are most welcome. Come along and enjoy the fun and make new friends. | |
Kundabung RodeoThe annual Kundabung Rodeo is a popular event that draws well known rodeo riders from all over Australia. There is plenty of action and hot competition for the Australasian Titles that are up for grabs. The rodeo has grown in size and attraction over the years and now draws around 10,000 spectators.It is held in October at Kundabung Stables on Rodeo Drive. The gates usually open about 10 am and the event runs till 5 pm. Food, drink and a public bar is available and its a good idea to bring your fold up chair or blankets for sitting on. Endurance RideThe Kundabung Macleay Endurance and Pleasure Riders Club Inc organise an annual endurance horse ride on the last weekend of each May. The rides use established forestry trails and there are three rides as follows:

Community Hall ActivitiesThe community hall can be hired out for special events or activities and the contact number is 6561 5003. On polling day the community hall is where you go to cast your vote.

Hall Location: The
tennis courts
and community hall are on the east side of the
railway line. Turn off the Pacific Highway and into Kundabung
Road. Follow it past the timber mill and to the end the road
where it veers off to the right and over the railway line. It
is a level
crossing so care is needed to check for trains before
crossing.

Tennis Courts The
tennis
courts are located next to the community hall.
There is a tennis club that plays each Tuesday and Thursday evening at
7pm. New members are welcome so come along and join the
team. For further enquiries contact Frank on 6561 5014. It is always a good
idea to phone first as sometimes the games are called off due to other commitments. |
