Kundabung Australiasian Bullriding Titles- Sunday 2 October 2011

Gates Open at 10 am and Rodeo Starts 12 Noon

Every year people come from all over the state and the nation to witness the most dangerous sport and the biggest bullriding event in Australia. Cowboys pit their skills against the bulls and horses they have drawn to compete for the Australian Bull Riding Title and the Transnation Title. The bulls are hand picked for their aggression and performance to guarantee a tough and adrenalin pumping event.

Loads of Family Entertainment

Fun for the whole family - world class bullriding comedy clowns, chair o plane rides, giant slippery dip, laughing clowns, jumbo slide, face painting, pony rides, music by Terrys entertainment. Treat yourself to a heart stopping gut wrenching afternoon!!

Music is provided by Terrys Entertainment.

Tickets

Adults $25, children under 15 years $15, children under 5 years are free, family pass for 2 adults and 2 children $60.

Facilities

Food and drinks are available on the rodeo grounds and patrons are not permitted to bring in alcohol. There will be a bar that sells at pub prices and plenty of toilets. Bring along a blanket to sit on.

Location

The Kundabung Rodeo is located on the Pacific Highway 10 kms south of Kempsey and 30 kms North of Port Macquarie. Turn off the highway into Smiths Creek Road (you'll see the Motel) and follow the signs.

John Scott held the first Kundabung Rodeo in 1978 and has never looked back. Each year the rodeo gets bigger and better and the huge repeat crowds are testament to this. However, the rodeo promotion is not the only string in John's bow. John also provides horse education services and is a quality livestock dealer. For all enquiries please call (02) 6561 5037.  

Horse Education

John has a passion for horses and has been involved with them since his early childhood years when he rode his horse to school each day. Along with his lifetime of experience John also had the privilege of working alongside the famous horse trainer, James D Wilton when they trained a number or rodeo horses together. John offers the following services:
  • Breaking In
  • Education
  • Correctional Work
The property has a stable complex that can house up to fourteen horses at a time. The stables are surrounded by well fenced pastures. Top of page
